Battlefield 1 breaks the premium play wall

DICE announced today that they will now allow owners of Battlefield 1 premium to share the perks of the experience with standard players. ‘Premium Friends’ allows those players who purchased a Premium Pass to invite non-premium players to a party that can play on every map, regardless if they own the content or not.

This gives DLC access to players who haven’t purchased it via their friends who have and allows the whole community to play together as a whole.

A trial run of ‘Premium Friends’ will go live during the upcoming Battlefest that starts on March 30. You can find out more about ‘Premium Friends’ here.
