The First Beyond Good & Evil 2 Gameplay Footage is Here
Finally, we have some Beyond Good & Evil 2 gameplay. A developer stream today with Michel Ancel and the Beyond Good & Evil 2 team showcased the very first gameplay footage. As warned by the development staff, the look showed a very-early-stage of the game’s development cycle. Even so, it’s a better look than last year’s E3.
It’s a very short look into the game, but does showcase it nonetheless. You can see some of the combat, flying around in spaceships and even a brief glance into the motion capture. Ubisoft is holding back “lots of surprises” for its E3 conference, though. It’s set for June 11th, right before the media event begins.
For those new to series, you play a space captain in charge for crew members with specific roles. They’ll expand your abilities as the game progresses, opening up new areas and ships to explore. As time goes on, you’ll recruit new member, forming the best team possible for your ship.
As you’re managing your ship, you’ll be able to explore different planets in your solar system. There’s only a few, but the developers say each will have it’s own story. They claim the game will appeal both to those looking for a solo adventure and also those who want to tackle it cooperatively.
We’ll keep you up to date with more details during the Ubisoft E3 press conference.
