Fancy winning $100million? Wired Productions is offering this for the first person to complete a trip!
On November 2nd Wired Productions announced that they would give the first person to accomplish this trip $100 million. On production of proof and this completed form. One month on and no one has yet made a claim for it yet. If you are interested then you still have 99 years and 11 months before the deadline.
Before you kiss your pets goodbye and grab the travel luggage there is one small wrinkle, the task is to visit every planet in our solar system. That includes Pluto which Vostock Inc insist is a planet (NASA disagree which may be why they are excluded from entering). You must provide unedited footage of your orbit around each. You must also not be Richard Branson, work for Virgin or NASA. My money’s was on Elon Musk (CEO of SpaceX), their paperwork does not exclude him, however their press reel does, loophole?
This is of course a publicity stunt by Wired Productions. A superb one, I would not be talking about this if it had not of made me laugh. The style of the press reel just adds to the character of this so much. The game they are advertising is Nosebleed Interactive’s twin stick shooter for the Nintendo Switch, Vostok Inc.
Taken directly from their press release; In Vostok Inc, you play as a corrupt, narcissistic yuppie, hoping to make as much money as possible in a greed driven twin-stick shooter without a conscience. As the newly-appointed CEO of Vostok Inc., you have one goal: to become filthy, stinking rich. Piloting your very own ship, explore and exploit more than 40 planets across six different solar systems in your quest to earn ludicrous amounts of MOOLAH!
Sadly not owning a Switch myself I could not try the game out though they are currently running a competition to win one. Wired Productions competition page can be found here.
Right I am off to build myself a large catapult and slingshot, what are your plans to claim the money? Let us know in the comments!
