Destiny 2 community rates the game at 7/10 in suvery
The Destiny subreddit ran a poll on the opinions of Destiny 2 compared to the first title. Just under 12,000 responded, but the results are a little muddy.
Platforms choices started this trend. 41.4% are on PlayStation 4, 40.2% are on PC, and 30.2% are on Xbox One. Especially with the delayed release, I would expect the PC percentage to be lower. However, the numbers add up to more than 100%, so some players have the game on two or more platforms.
Next, aspects of the game were scored out of ten, the lowest category being customization options. Here, 20% of players rated it as a one out of ten.
The trend continued to the end-game, were 22.7% gave the lowest score. Players want more to do at the end, and Bungie has acknowledged this. We can probably expect a lot from the upcoming DLC.
The highest rated categories were for graphics and sound design, where the majority of the community gave the game an eight or higher.
Concluding, 27.6% of the community rated the game a seven out of ten, which is slightly below what we scored that game as. Still, 71.8% preferred the original game to the sequel.
