Non-Verbal Communication in the works for Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is launching on PC and Xbox One early in 2018, and in the run up to it’s release, the team behind the game are dropping plenty of information about the new features the game will have.
The latest piece of information that dropped is how the game will handle non-verbal communication. Whilst the team is making it clear the being on voice comms will ultimately make for a better team based experience, they have still included non-verbal communication for those that don’t have a microphone, or who just don’t want to be on voice chat.
One of the most important mechanics to the system, is that it will also translate the phrases for team members who are from different countries too, making Sea of Thieves a real community driven game.
In the latest video released by the developers, we see a glimpse into this new system that is still in development with community video manager, Jon McFarlane and Senior Designer, Andrew Preston.
Sea of Thieves will launch in early 2018.
