GTA Online’s new game mode is a lot like Battlegrounds
Rockstar released their July update for GTA Online. There’s so new skins, a car, and blah blah blah. The most interesting part of it is the new game mode. Dawn Raid is a mode that is eerily similar to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Two teams of up to six people parachute out of a helicopter into a “combat zone”. Once there, you search for a transmitter hidden inside of a package. Grab it, and get it back to the evacuation zone.
Here’s Rockstar’s description.
“In Los Santos, when it’s time to make a profit you do whatever it takes. In this case, that means parachuting from a chopper in the dead of night directly into a crossfire, using thermal and night vision to identify and gun down the opposition, and working with your team to track down the crate containing your tax-exempt profit margin. Time to make the deal.”
You’ll also Double GTA$ & RP in this Dawn Raid through July 10th. You can read the full details of the update here.
