Killer Instinct coming to Steam later this year
Previously a Windows Store exclusive, Killer Instinct will be coming to Steam later this year. The free-to-play fighter is, more than likely, aiming to grow the player base on PC since most PC players avoid the Windows Store at all costs (me included).
The news was confirmed on Twitter (see below) after an announcement at CEO 2017 in Florida.
That’s right, KI is coming to Steam later this year! Thanks to @CEOJebailey for helping us break the news. More details to follow.

There was no confirmation of the date that the game will arrive on Steam, but you can expect it sometime in Q4 I’d imagine. Nothing was said about how the free-to-play version will roll-out, but it will probably be a base version with rotating characters, and a purchasable Definitive Edition that features all playable characters.
We’ll keep you up to date as we learn more, but in the meantime, check out some Eagle gameplay below, a new character announced at E3 2017.
