Monster Hunter World Announced – Coming to PC and Xbox for the first time every
Capcom announced that the next Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter World, will be cross-platform with a PC release date sometime in 2018. Here’s their description:
” Monster Hunter: World introduces a living, breathing ecosystem in which players take on the role of a hunter that seeks and slays ferocious beasts in heart-pounding battles that unfold across the vast ever-changing terrain. Venture on quests alone or with up to three hunters in a newly designed online drop-in multiplayer system which allows cross-region cooperative play between Japan and the West, uniting the player base for the first time ever. ”
This is pretty exciting for all gamers, really. For the first time ever, Moster Hunter will break exclusivity meaning PC players can finally jump on the bandwagon. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases are planned for early 2018 with a PC release coming at a “later date”.
We’ll keep you updated as details progress, but you can try out the game at the Capcom booth if you’re at E3 this week.
