Europa Universalis 4 and Hearts of Iron 4 Get DLC Double Feature on June 14
Paradox Interactive announced a double punch of DLC for Europa Universalis 4 and Hearts of Iron 4, coming June 14.
Starting with Hearts of Iron, the military simulator will received “Death or Dishonor”. This is more of an update and less of an expansion, introducing new features, but not completely being new. Paradox describes the expansion as:
“Death or Dishonor introduces new National Focus trees and gameplay options for the countries caught between the Nazi and Soviet war machines – Hungary, Romania, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia. In addition, Death or Dishonor adds new diplomatic and puppet interactions, new music and gameplay art, and additional national interactions to change the course of history.”
Here’s a livestream of Paradox showing of Death or Dishonor:
EU4 will receive more in the way of an expansion with “Third Rome” Paradox continues:
“Third Rome expands the governmental, military, and diplomatic opportunities for the Russian empire. The pack includes new ranks of Russian governments that give Tsars the power to claim states, powerful minstrelsy mercenary units that excel in combat at the cost of the empire’s stability, and new interactions with the Orthodox Patriarchate. These changes give Russian players more ways to maintain control over their sprawling territory using a mix of military might, political touch, and religious conviction.”
And of course, Paradox doing their livestream thing:
June 14 is a date to look forward to, both expansions launching simultaneously. They will run $9.99 a piece, with a 10% if you bundle them together.
