Take-Two Interactive Acquire Kerbal Space Program
One of the first Early Access darlings, Kerbal Space Program, has been acquired by well known publisher, Take-Two Interactive. Kerbal Space Program was developed by indie team Squad initially, and will still continue to support the game and it’s on going development, through game expansions and updates.
Kerbal Space Program is a fun, interactive physics based simulator where your aim is to send little dudes into space. The game has been out on the market for a few years now, and was one of the biggest hits from the Steam Early Access program. Recently it was announced that an expansion pack would be coming out for the game, called Kerbal Space Program: Making History, set to release later this year.
It’s not clear right now what Take-Two Interactive plans are for the the series, and it’s promising news that Squad are still getting to work on the title. Maybe more investment will be heading to the team’s way to make it an even better game. Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
