The New Corsair K68 Keyboard Stands Up to Dust and Spills
Corsair revealed their new K68 mechanical keyboard. The board is a full 104 keys, stepping up from the K65, but missing the volume rocker included on the K70.
However, the most interesting this about this keyboard is that it is completely dust and spill resistant. This is achieved by small rubber walls shielding each of the switches. The protection surrounds the switch, without making direct contact with the stem.
This means the experience won’t suffer as well. Using genuine Cherry MX Red switches (MX Blues for Asia), the board falls in line with previous high-end offers from Corsair. The attractive $99 price point makes it an excellent mid-point for mechanical gaming keyboards.
That comes with trade-offs, however. The board does not feature RGB backlighting, currently only being offered in Red and Blue LED variants.
