Quantum Break’s Remedy Entertainment Partners with 505 Games
505 Games announced today that it will be entering a publishing agreement with Remedy Entertainment for a brand new PC and Xbox One game.
Remedy Entertainment are known for the work on some of the biggest franchises over the past decade including the likes of Alan Wake, Max Payne and Quantum Break.
505 Games will publish a new game, contributing €7.75 million to the pot, and helping with marketing.
The new game has the code name of Project 7, and is a cinematic third person action game, set in a newly created universe.
“It is a sign of how far 505 Games has come that we are now in a position to partner with such a talented development studio as Remedy Entertainment”, commented Raffaele Galante, CEO of Digital Bros. “Our mutual life-stages, ambitions and business objectives are actually very well-aligned and we are excited to enter into what feels like a very natural partnership. The agreement fits perfectly with our strategy of continuous improvement of the quality and the potential returns of our portfolio.”
There is little detail out there at the moment, however, it is highly speculated that the game will also include a deep multiplayer format. Perhaps we will see more at this Summer’s E3 event, where both parties are due to attend.
