Yooka Laylee’s First Update Fixes Camera Issues
Playtonic Games has announced some details on the tweaks and changes players can expect from Yooka Laylee’s first major update since its release.
No word on when the update will go live, but the studio said it would be rolling it out “in the coming weeks”.
Some of the changes include some commonly requested features such as skippable cutscenes, skipping dialogue more quickly and a reduction of the game’s “gibberish” voice acting that players found annoying.
One major problem that reviewers found with the game, is the way the camera works. Thankfully this has also been addressed by Playtonic, and they have since released a little clip showing off the improved work.
Yooka-Laylee was released for PC on April 11 to mixed reviews, but what did you think to the 3d platformer?
