PlayerUnknown Battleground is a hit, if you didn’t know?
In case you have been living under a rock for the past couple of months, PlayeUnknown Battlegrounds released in March 2017 and almost instantly hit the top of Steam’s top selling charts.
The developer, Bluehole have today announced that the game has already passed a huge milestone, selling over two million copies.
To celebrate this, Bluehole has announced it will be holding a live stream event on Thursday, May 4th to raise money for Gamer’s Outreach, and will match up to $100,000 in donations made during the event.
The only games to beat Battlegrounds right now are the hugely popular Dota 2 and Counter-Strike Global Offensive (I don’t see those two dropping off anytime soon).
Have you been playing Battlegrounds? What do you think of the game? Do you think this “battle royale” genre has sticking power?
